I graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2015 with honours and started practicing at a small animal vets and an orthopaedic referral centre in Nottinghamshire. I learned a great deal during my time there and left in 2018 after the practice was sold to a large corporate company. I wanted to start my own veterinary practice which emulated the ethos of my grandfather i.e. a rural local village practice that offered a straightforward approach whilst utilising my skills and experience as a veterinary surgeon with modern techniques and treatment methods. I believe you should know your local vets just like you know your GP and seeing lots of different vets can be frustrating when your pet has complex needs. That won't be the case here at Newgrange vets.
I'm a bit of a petrolhead and in my spare time I enjoy motor racing and watching Formula 1. Along with my wife Charlotte we have 2 dogs, Bandit and Cleo, and a cat Jasper. We also have 3 wonderful children keeping us busy.
